The Pontiac Firebird was the closest Pontiac ever got to rivaling the Ford Mustang and Mercury Cougar. It was produced between 1967 and 2002, marking over 75 years of existence. The model you see above comes from the second-generation Pontiac series which was produced between 1970 and 1981.
