Bringing a retro off-roader into the future.
The original Ford Bronco is an absolute beast and a favorite among off-roaders and classic car collectors. There’s a lot to love about its simplistic design and engineering coupled with its four-wheel drive layout. This model, however, has been brought into the 21st century with a host of new upgrades along with a fresh set of MotoMetal MO979 Buckshot wheels.
Back when it was first introduced in 1966, the Ford Bronco had its own unique platform that wasn’t shared with other Ford or Lincoln models. It was a front-engined, square-shaped SUV with a 92-inch wheelbase and a body-on-frame construction. It was made for off-road fun and traveling. Customers had an option of a straight-six or V-8 engine sending power through a three-speed manual or three-speed automatic gearbox. This one, however, has a bit more power driving all four MotoMetal MO979 Buckshot wheels.
This first-generation Ford Bronco has been chopped up and modified heavily for off-road excursions and to bring it into the future. The doors have been replaced to give a more open feel while new LED lights are used for the headlights, on the roof, and side mirrors. A new front grille and bumper combo with integrated winch system gives even more capability to the old-school beast. New fenders make room for the massive MotoMetal MO979 Buckshot wheels and tires while the entire suspension has been lifted and upgraded for more vertical rim travel.
Running through the dirt, mud, gravel, and everything in between is a new set of MotoMetal MO979 Buckshot wheels. These MotoMetal rims measure a considerable 20 x 12.0 with a -44 offset and feature a Satin Black finish with Gun Metal inserts that make their chiseled and defined spokes stand out even more inside the deep lips. Sitting proudly on these MotoMetal MO979 Buckshot wheels are meaty 38 x 15.0 R20 Mickey Thompson tires that are made for churning through rugged terrain with ease.
In a world where the latest and greatest SUVs and truck rule the road, this heavily-modified first-generation Ford Bronco with MotoMetal MO979 Buckshot wheels is king of the trails.
